DUMPLING TIME ADDS NEW DUMPLINGS, EXPANDS VEGETARIAN OPTIONS, STARTS DELIVERY

Casual SoMa dumpling house adds new dumplings and menu items, including vegan and vegetarian options, and partners with Caviar for delivery

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – November 16, 2017 – Dumpling Time, the neighborhood dumpling-and-beer house from Omakase Restaurant Group (ORG), has added two siu mai dumplings to its roster, as well as Cantonese-style steamed pork ribs and an expanded selection of vegan and vegetarian options.

Beginning today, the popular SoMA lunch and dinner spot, which often has a line out the door, is also partnering with Caviar for delivery. Now guests can beat the line by ordering online at caviar.com. Delivery menu options include the new siu mai and vegetarian items.

The newest dumpling, siu mai, is an open-top dumpling with a thin, wonton skin. It’s available with two different fillings: Shrimp & Pork ($6 for four pieces) and fresh Maine Lobster with chives, butter and white truffle oil ($12 for four pieces). Four new vegan options have been added to the menu: Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls with chili dipping sauce ($5), Fresh Summer Rolls filled with carrots, peppers, snap peas and mint ($5), Crispy Sesame Tofu Squares ($5), Edamame with salt and Szechuan peppercorn ($5). A final addition to the menu is Steamed Pork Ribs with fried garlic and Chinese black beans, a Cantonese favorite ($8).

Four sakes have been added to the drink menu: Joto Graffiti Cup Okayama and Bushido Ginjo Genshu, which are available by the cup, and Bunny Nara Sparkling Sake and Kasumi Tsuru Kimoto Hyogo, which are available by the bottle. Chandon Rosé is newly available in a single-serve split.
