Best Accounts to Look To When You Need Social Media Inspiration

If your work involves any sort of social media management or you take your personal brand very seriously, you know you’re bound to get in a rut every once in a while. Whether that’s from strategizing a new campaign, creating new content, or trying to come up with a clever caption, being creative 24/7 just isn’t humanly possible.

With that said, everyone looks to other brand’s accounts for inspiration from time to time. We all have specific accounts we, dare we say it, try to mimic in some way. With that said, we’ve compiled a list of brands killing it on Instagram that you can always look to for a little inspiration.

1. Airbnb

Good For: Compelling Inspiration

Airbnb is all about getting out and seeing the world and their content reflects that. Their feed is filled with beautifully taken shots with captions that inspire you to travel. They highlight unique homes anyone can book and deep dive into why each place is worth staying at. The combination of heartening information and breathtaking photography inspires their fans to book a place then and there.

2. Glossier

Good For: Aesthetic Inspiration

This blog post wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t mention Glossier. And if you work in digital marketing, you know who Glossier is. They have built a community up through an aesthetically pleasing feed that screams millennials and parallels their tagline, “beauty inspired by real-life” perfectly. They are the perfect example of a brand that posts strategically to complete a bigger picture (the entire feed). If you’re looking for creative inspiration, head to their page and scroll to see how they create a cohesive feed.

3. Chubbies

Good For: Humorous Inspiration

Chubbies is a prime example of how to use humor to build a brand. The brand itself over the years has become an easy target for people to make fun of and the company decided to run with it. Their Instagram is filled with memes and videos that show you don’t need a huge budget to create good content, sometimes all you need is an iPhone and a good sense of humor. They poke fun at their own product, which makes them more appealing as a brand.

4. lululemon

Good For: Lifestyle Inspiration

lululemon shows that you don’t need to be so “market-y” on social media. They’ve mastered the art of lifestyle shots. Head over to their page and immediately get a feel for what your day to day life would look like when wearing their products. They show real people doing real things, which makes it easier for you to see yourself in a pair of their leggings or one of their sports bras.

5. Siggi’s

Good For: UGC Inspiration

Siggi’s is a great example of a brand who calls their fans to post about them. In their bio, they have “tag your #dailysiggis” which is a great call to action right away. This also allows them to keep all their UGC in one place. They then highlight the best fan posts on their feed which urges others to create beautiful content and fun ideas using the product so that they will be featured. Can’t afford a photographer? No worries, just follow in Siggi’s footsteps and you’ll get all the content you could ever need. 😉
