Adrienne is the newest member of the Ellipses team and we are happy to have her on as an Account Executive! Adrienne is a Jersey girl who came to California to finish college and never left. Her inaugural years on the West Coast delivered earthquake and fire, yet she refused to leave the beauty, diversity, and sunny climes of Oakland.   1. I first knew I wanted to be in PR when: Wait… I’m in PR? I thought I just told people about my favorite places they should visit.
  2. My dream client: Josey Baker in San Francisco, Fournèe Bakery in Berkeley
  3. If I weren’t in PR, I would be: A specialty foods buyer
  4. My biggest PR horror story is: n/a
  5. My first job was: Under-the-table job? Nanny. Real job? Counter person at Au Bon Pain
  6. My biggest professional accomplishment so far: Landing a job with the top-notch Ellipses team
  7. Favorite social media platform: Instagram
  8. My biggest pet peeve is: When it’s and its are used incorrectly.
  9. Best movie I ever saw: That’s so hard! The Mission and Amadeus are long-time favorites. Fly Away Home is a sweet one, too.
  10. Why I love my job, in 3 words: Eating, Sharing, Helping.
  11. I’m secretly terrified of: Pigeons.
  12. I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I watch: Once Upon a Time
  13. Favorite place I’ve traveled to: Really? Just one? That’s so unfair. I love Santa Fe for its natural beauty and its adobes, but I never tire of traveling back home to the Philadelphia area. The charm of Historic Philadelphia, the art museum, the change of seasons, Reading Terminal, Ninth Street, Tastycakes… I’m like a kid in a candy store every time I’m there.

  17. The best thing about the Bay Area is: But there are so many! Topography, microclimates, diversity of people, foodie culture, lefty politics.
  18. When I’m not working: I’m running, cooking, tracking down a bakery product, or reading.
  19. My favorite publication(s) to read: New York Times
  20. My favorite Bay Area restaurant is: Right now? Shakewell. But it changes often.
  21. Advice to future PR pros: Be polite, creative and resourceful. And remain calm.
